Worried about drilling into your solar panel frame ( warranty issue ) solution
How to overcome the warranty issue of drilling into the frame of the solar panel.
​
1. Glue the Solar-Cop alarm connector (1/3) to the underside of the panel against the frame as per diagram.
2. Drill holes into the solar railing holding your panels in place.
3. Insert Solar-Cop grommet 2/3 in the drilled holes in the rail
3. Connect 2 core ripcord to the Solar-Cop alarm connector (1/3) and pass through the Solar-Cop grommet in the drilled holes in the railing.
4. Connect a Solar-Cop end cap (3/3) to the wire and plug the hole with the Solar-Cop end cap.
5. Do this for all your panels separately and connect all the wires to your alarm system.

1. Glue the Solar-Cop alarm connector 1/3) to the underside of the panel against the frame as per diagram.
2. Connect 2 core ripcord to the Solar-Cop alarm connector, insert the Solar-Cop rubber grommets (2A/3 or 2B/3 ) into the solar panel existing holes, then pass the 2 core ripcord through the Solar-Cop rubber grommets in the solar panel frame.
5. Do this for all your panels separately and connect the wire to your alarm system.
